What does TTL (Time to Live) mean?

Back to Help

The TTL is a time indication in seconds, how long zone record information is stored in the cache of systems or browsers, before it’s refreshed. The lower the TTL value is, the more often the browser or client will query the name servers to check if the cached information is still correct. At Moreweb we use a default TTL value of 3600 seconds (60 minutes).
